GENERAL TERMS OF HIRE

Bookin-Centre-Onliner.com is a independent entity,
therefore has no direct or mercantile connection with its suppliers,
therefore any complaints or claims are the responsibility of the provider,
however these can be passed on through us.

1.- USE OF VEHICLE
The hirer receives the vehicle in a perfect running order, complete with all its papers, tyres, tools and accessories and undertakes to preserve them and to use the vehicle in accordance with the following clauses:

a) Persons other than those authorised shall not drive the vehicle.

b) The hirer shall not transport persons or goods, when this explicitly or implicitly implies a sub-lease of the vehicle.

c) The hirer shall not drive the vehicle under impaired physical conditions, as consequence of alcohol, drugs, fatigue or illness.

d) The hirer shall not use the vehicle to push or tow other vehicles.

e) The hirer shall not use the vehicle to take part in races, competitions or contests of any kind.

f) The hirer shall in all events respect the regulations set out in the highway code of the location where he is found.

In the event of breach in any of these clauses, the hirer assumes full responsibility for whatsoever damages are caused by such a breach to the hire company and to third parties. The company reserves the right to withdraw the vehicle from the hirer if it eras about any reach in these regulations.

2. - DRIVING LICENCE
The hirer shall be in possession of respective and valid driving licence with three years minimum standing. Furthermore, the minimum age of the the hirer shall be twenty-three years.

3.- PETROL
At the time of completing the agreement, the hirer shall pay to the rental company the amount of the full tank of petrol.

4.- DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Free of charge within the limits of the car hirer companies (maximum of 10 kilometres from any of their offices) and a minimum of 7 days hire.

5.- RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
Hire shall return the rented vehicle, complete with all its papers, tools and accessories, to the place and on the date stipulated overleaf. Any change shall require a prior authorisation by the hire company. Breach in this condition shall authorise the hire company to sue the hirer for the return of the vehicle.

6.- HIRER CHARGES
As well as petrol, the hirer undertakes to pay the hire company: 

a) Charges incurred for loss of tyres, tools and accessories.

b) Repair costs of damages caused to the vehicle, in an accident, when the following circumstances concur:

1) When the vehicle has not been used in accordance with the conditions set out in point one hereunto.

2) When the accident report has not been completed in the specified term or does not coincide with the reality or the facts that have occurred.

c) Any fines and court costs incurred for traffic fines or breach of laws, regulations or rules by hires.

7.- PAYMENT
Prepay Option: This option means that you pay in advance, if you proceed the booking with this option, and properly fill in all fields, your booking payment could be done before you collect the car. Please note that all charges are made by our providers, we just forward your credit card details to our suppliers and they make the respective charge.

Directpay Option: This means you will pay at pickup.

8.- INSURANCE
The hirer and drivers authorised overleaf shall enjoy the benefits of an automobile insurance policy arranged by the hire company, for unlimited public liability, in the following cases:

a) When the hirer, in the event of an accident, sends the hire company an accident report within the space of forty-eight hours from occurrence of the accident.

b) When the insurance company does not reject the claim, as consequence of not driving the vehicle in the physical conditions required in the Highway Code.

For the purpose of this insurance, the spouse, ascendants, descendents, brothers or sisters of the hirer and authorised drivers as well as their partners or persons who have any wage relation or dependence with them shall not have the consideration of third parties. The loss, theft or damage caused to goods transported in the hired vehicle shall be expressly excluded from the insurance guarantee.

It is the hirer's responsibility in respect of damage caused to the hired vehicle, provided it is used in accordance with the conditions set out in point one hereunto, shall be covered in the event of theft or fire. In event of fire any damage caused hall be the responsibility of the hirer if transporting dangerous goods or inflammable material.

The insurance does not include repairs or replacement of tyres due to punctures or collisions that require such repair or replacement.

9.- ACCIDENTS
In the event of an accident, the hirer undertakes to:

a) Obtain full particular from the adversary party and possible witnesses and to complete an accident report that will be sent to the hire company not later than forty-eight hours from occurrence of the accident.

b) Not admit or pre-judge the responsibility for the facts. 

c) To report to the authorities immediately when the culpability of the other party requires investigating or if there are any injured persons. 

d) Not to abandon the rented vehicle without first adopting the suitable measures to protect it. 

10.- REPAIRS
The hire company shall pay any expenses incurred during the hire for lubrication, oil changes and minor repairs, except punctures, up to a maximum of 9 Ä, to be justified with the appropriate receipts or invoices. The cost of towing the vehicle in the event of an accident or breakdown is expressly excluded, and shall be paid by the hirer. The hirer undertakes to obtain prior authorisation from the hire company before carrying out repair jobs for more than 9 Ä. The hire company shall pay any breakdown occurring in a hired vehicle, except when it is proved this has been due to a bad use by the hirer, in which case the hirer shall be obliged to pay the amount of the repair plus the standstill of the vehicle and all the displacement and tow costs.

11.- HIRER RESPONSIBILITY
The hire company states it has taken the appropriate precautions to avoid mechanical failures in the hired vehicle. Should any failure occur, it accepts no responsibility for damages that directly or indirectly may be caused to the hirer as consequence of such failures or breakdowns.

12.- The vehicle shall not be used by the hirer to carry out transport on anotherís behalf.
